About the QueenClub project

The QueenClub website was developed using a range of cutting-edge technologies, including Shopify, Liquid, JavaScript, Remix, HTML, and CSS. The main focus of the project was to develop a Shopify 2.0 theme from scratch based on Figma mockups.

One of the key features of the site is its cart drawer, which allows customers to easily view and manage their cart without having to navigate away from the page they're currently on. This feature was developed using JavaScript and is seamlessly integrated into the Shopify theme.

Another important feature of the site is its custom landing pages, which are editable through the Shopify theme customizer. This allows the client to easily update and modify the content on the site without having to go through a developer, saving them time and money in the long run.

In addition to the Shopify theme, a custom-built course platform was also developed on top of the theme. This platform allows the client to sell and manage courses through their website, providing an additional revenue stream and enhancing the site's functionality.

To allow customers to track their progress through the course, the development team utilized Remix.run as an external API. This API allows customers to upload their custom data into customer-based metafields, which are later used to display course progress and images before and after body transformation.

To protect the content of the course, access is restricted only to customers who have bought the course or subscription products. This was achieved through the use of Shopify's built-in customer tags, which are added to the customer's account after they make a purchase.
