Heartify - Wishlist & Favorites

Let every shopper save favorites in one tap. Guests need no account, and their list merges into their customer account automatically on login.

Coming soon to the Shopify App Store

Overview

Shoppers who love a product but are not ready to buy have nowhere to keep it, so they leave and forget. Heartify adds a wishlist that works for everyone: guests save favorites instantly with no account, and logged-in customers keep their list across every device. When a guest logs in, their wishlist merges into their account automatically, so nothing is lost. Add the heart button, the wishlist page, the floating widget, and hearts on collection cards straight from the theme editor — no code, and nothing left behind on uninstall. Shoppers can share their list with a link rendered in your own theme, product pages can show live social proof, and you can track demand trends and import from any other wishlist app by CSV.

Data Access

This app needs access to the following data to work on your store:

View store data

  • Products

View personal data

  • Customer ID only (Level 1 protected customer data)

Heartify requests a single scope — read products. It never accesses customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses. Logged-in shoppers are identified by a signed customer ID so their wishlist follows their account; guests are tracked by a first-party cookie. When you import from another app, email-to-customer matching runs entirely in your browser, so only numeric IDs ever reach our servers. Uninstalling revokes access immediately, and your data is purged when Shopify confirms the uninstall.

Frequently Asked Questions

(01)

Do shoppers need an account to save items?

No. Guests can save favorites in one tap with no account, tracked by a first-party cookie. When a guest later logs in, their wishlist merges into their customer account automatically and idempotently, so nothing is duplicated or lost.

(02)

Do paid plans include a free trial?

Yes. Basic and Pro both include a 7-day free trial. You can use every premium feature during the trial with no commitment, and you are not charged until it ends.

(03)

What counts as a wishlist for the plan limits?

A wishlist is one distinct shopper — guest or logged-in customer — with at least one saved item. The number of items each shopper saves is never counted or capped. Free covers 200 wishlists, Basic 1,000, and Pro is unlimited.

(04)

What happens when I reach the wishlist limit?

Nothing is deleted. Existing shoppers keep their lists and can keep saving. Once you reach the cap, a new shopper's first save is held gracefully with an upgrade prompt in your dashboard, and everything resumes the moment you upgrade.

(05)

Do I need to edit my theme to use Heartify?

No. Everything installs as a theme app extension. Add the heart button, the wishlist page block, the floating widget, and the collection-card hearts from the theme editor — the dashboard provides one-click deep links. There is no code to paste, and uninstalling leaves nothing behind in your theme.

(06)

Will Heartify slow down my store?

No. The storefront script is around 4KB, loads only where needed, and makes no requests to third-party servers. It is delivered through Shopify's own theme app extension infrastructure, so it does not block your page from rendering.

(07)

Can I switch from another wishlist app?

Yes. Heartify imports wishlists from any app by CSV. Email-to-customer matching runs entirely in your browser, so customer email addresses never reach our servers — only anonymous numeric IDs do. Most migrations take a couple of minutes.

(08)

Which customer data does Heartify access?

Only the customer ID, which is Level 1 protected customer data. Heartify requests a single scope, read products, and never reads customer names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses. The signed customer ID is used solely to keep a logged-in shopper's wishlist tied to their account.
