Overview
Most loyalty apps pay rewards out as discount codes: customers have to find them, copy them, and remember to paste them at checkout - and most never do. Loya turns repeat purchases into native Shopify store credit instead. Customers earn points for orders, signups, birthdays, reviews and referrals, then redeem them as store credit that applies automatically at checkout as a payment method - nothing to copy, nothing to expire in a forgotten inbox.
On top of the points program you can add store credit cashback on every order, VIP tiers with earn multipliers, and points expiry with reminder emails that bring customers back. Balances show up everywhere your customers shop: in your theme, in customer accounts, at checkout and on Shopify POS. Loyalty events sync to Klaviyo and Shopify Flow so your email and automation stack always knows who earned what.

Data Access
Loya only requests the Shopify permissions it needs to run your loyalty program:
Store data
- Orders - to award points and cashback for purchases and handle refunds
- Customers - to keep points balances, tiers and referral status per customer
- Store credit - to issue and reclaim the credit customers redeem
- Discounts - for reward types that use discounts or free shipping
- Themes - to place the storefront widget as a theme app embed
Uninstalling revokes access immediately. On uninstall the app exports a snapshot of your program data, removes the widget, and cleans up its metafields; remaining data is purged when Shopify confirms the uninstall.
