What we set up for the Serbian market

A Shopify store in Serbia has to work the way people here buy. We have set all of this up on projects for Serbian brands.

(01)

Cash on delivery and couriers

Courier integrations so shipping rates, tracking and cash on delivery work the way Serbian customers buy, as on Klompe Shop and Hop Hop Shop.

(02)

Fiscalisation on every order

Shopify connected to a fiscalisation system so every order is fiscalised without manual work. Klompe Shop and Hop Hop Shop use Sparkom.

(03)

Dinar pricing and delivery rules

Prices in RSD, free delivery above a threshold and size exchanges, as on M&L Butik with free delivery over 10,000 RSD.

(04)

Selling in Serbia and the EU

A separate EU storefront on the same theme, as for Hop Hop Shop in 4 languages. Or one store that sells to several countries, as Barbosa Fashion’s Slovenian store does (Slovenia, Croatia, Italy).

(05)

Moving from another platform

Migration from WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce or a custom system, moving products and customers and adding 301 redirects for the URLs that matter. Barbosa Fashion’s Slovenian store moved from BigCommerce.

(06)

Mobile apps on the same catalogue

Native iOS and Android apps running on the same Shopify catalogue, as for Hop Hop Shop and Klompe Shop.

Shopify in Serbia: questions

(01)

Can you sell in Serbia with Shopify?

Yes. Hop Hop Shop, Klompe Shop and M&L Butik sell to customers in Serbia through Shopify, with dinar prices and cash on delivery. Klompe Shop and Hop Hop Shop also run courier integrations and fiscalise every order.

(02)

Can a Shopify store handle Serbian fiscalisation?

Yes. We connect Shopify to a fiscalisation system so every order is fiscalised automatically. On Klompe Shop and Hop Hop Shop that is Sparkom.

(03)

Can customers pay cash on delivery?

Yes. Cash on delivery runs on M&L Butik, Klompe Shop and Hop Hop Shop. On Klompe Shop and Hop Hop Shop it is tied into the courier integrations.

(04)

Can you move an existing store to Shopify?

Yes. We migrate products, customers and orders and set up 301 redirects for the old URLs to protect the store’s Google rankings. Barbosa Fashion’s Slovenian store moved from BigCommerce, and Klompe Shop from its own custom system.

(05)

How much does a Shopify store cost?

A Shopify store build costs from €3,000. A custom design in Figma is €1,000 for three key templates with two revision rounds, and a custom theme built from it costs from €8,000. Moving from another platform costs from €5,000, and ongoing optimization and support from €500 a month. The smallest project we take on is €1,000–1,500.

(06)

Can I sell in both Serbia and the EU?

Yes, in two ways. One Shopify store can sell to several countries: Barbosa Fashion’s Slovenian store sells to Slovenia, Croatia and Italy that way, in euros. Or a separate EU storefront on the same theme, as for Hop Hop Shop, in 4 languages.

(07)

Do you maintain the store after launch?

Yes. After launch we offer Shopify support and maintenance. For Igračke Plus, for example, we work on the site and its SEO every month.

(08)

Where is Codersy based?

Codersy is based in Belgrade (Veliki Crljeni), Serbia. We have been a Shopify Partner since 2017 and work for brands in Serbia, the EU, the UK and North America.
