Tattup — CVR optimisation + tattoo AI apps

Tattup sells realistic 2-week tattoos as a Swiss brand with a strong visual identity — but conversion depended on more than a pretty storefront. Shoppers needed a way to design custom ink, try looks without committing, and move from inspiration to checkout without dropping off. The existing path didn't showcase the AI generator, free-tattoo mechanics or in-store apps clearly enough to lift CVR.

What we did

• Ran conversion-rate optimisation across homepage, collections, Shop the Look and cart — tightening CTAs, social proof and merchandising so shoppers reach checkout faster.
• Built a custom tattoo AI generator so customers can pick a style, describe a design, preview it on skin and order it as a temporary tattoo.
• Shipped in-store apps around custom tattoos, Shop the Look bundles and a free-tattoos system that gives people a reason to generate, save and come back.
• Designed dark, editorial UX for the generator studio (styles, credits, cover-up / extract, community remix) so the product feels like a tool, not a widget bolted onto the theme.
• Tuned theme performance and the path from generated design to PDP so image-heavy pages stay fast while the custom flow still converts.
