Barbosa Fashion — BigCommerce → Shopify migration

Barbosa's Slovenian division had outgrown BigCommerce. They needed a clean migration to Shopify with no data loss, a redesign that matched the premium menswear brand, and a three-market setup (Slovenia, Croatia, Italy) — all without losing existing SEO equity or sales velocity.

What we did

• Migrated from BigCommerce to Shopify with full preservation of products, customer records, order history and URL redirects — minimal downtime, zero data loss.
• Designed and built a custom Shopify theme from scratch with a premium menswear aesthetic and a streamlined path to checkout.
• Set up Shopify Markets for SI / HR / IT with localised language, currency, payment methods and shipping per region.
• Optimised the new store for Core Web Vitals, image delivery and lean JS so it loads measurably faster than the previous BigCommerce build.
• Implemented a comprehensive 301 redirect strategy plus on-page SEO and schema so organic rankings carried over and improved.
