Cove — Headless Shopify + Sanity CMS rebuild

Cove had built a clear point of view on sustainable packaging but their site couldn't keep up. The marketing team wanted to publish editorial content and product stories without engineering, while the storefront still needed to load fast and look immaculate.

What we did

• Rebuilt the storefront headless on Remix to decouple the editorial layer from Shopify and unlock fast page loads and bespoke layouts.
• Integrated Sanity as the CMS for blog posts, brand stories and product education — the content team ships independently.
• Designed a minimal black-and-white aesthetic that lets the product photography do the heavy lifting and aligns with the brand's stance.
• Tuned image delivery, caching and Core Web Vitals for fast loads on every page despite the editorial-heavy footprint.
