Garden Delivery — Headless Hydrogen rebuild

Garden Delivery sells thousands of plants online to gardeners who need real guidance — hardiness zones, plant care, what's safe for pets. The previous stack couldn't keep up with image-heavy catalogues at speed, and search and content tooling weren't pulling their weight either.

What we did

• Rebuilt the entire storefront on Shopify Hydrogen for fast loads on an image-heavy catalogue and for solid SEO out of the box.
• Designed product organisation that lets gardeners browse by plant type (annuals, perennials, houseplants), by collection (Best Sellers, Proven Winners) and by criteria (Pet Safe, Spring Bloomers).
• Built educational sections — Plant Guides, Garden Blog, Trial Gardens, the Know Your Zone tool — that capture intent search and turn the brand into a gardening authority.
• Tuned image optimisation, caching and checkout for the realities of selling perishable plants — speed and clarity matter.
